ENLYZE is a data platform for the manufacturing industry. We connect machines and data sources, and make production data usable in real-time. This is how KPIs, dashboards, and other applications for production emerge.

Our goal is to enable our customers to optimize their production in a data-driven way without having to worry about the complex infrastructure necessary for the reliable flow of data.

Your role

You want to learn how to successfully manage digitization projects in production, from the initial machine connection to productive use at the customer’s site. Then support our Customer Success team as a working student focusing on project management and customer development.

You will work closely with our Customer Success Managers and help to plan, coordinate, and reliably implement customer projects in a structured way. You will quickly take on responsibilities, but will be closely supported. Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a structured working style are crucial.

Your tasks

In the first weeks, you will get to know our approach and gradually grow into the project day-to-day:

Technical support of digitization projects (OT/IT & production data)
You will learn how machines are connected, what OT/IT fundamentals are behind it (networks, industrial protocols, data formats), and how we create usable insights and visualizations from raw data.

Project organization & implementation control
You will support the planning and structuring of projects, document requirements and to-dos, prioritize tasks together with the team, and keep an eye on timelines, next steps, and open issues. You will ensure that agreements are followed up on and deadlines are met.

Stakeholder coordination
You will work with various point-of-contact persons at the customer and internally (production, maintenance, IT/OT, management) and help align all parties towards common goals.

You must bring

Interest & Motivation
You do not have to be an expert; what’s important is that you are eager to delve into these topics:

Project management skills
You enjoy structuring things, keeping an overview, and advancing projects step by step.

Technical curiosity
You are interested in machine connections, networks, industrial protocols, data, and visualization. You want to understand how digitization practically works in the production environment.

Communication with customers
You like to engage in direct exchanges, ask the right questions, and keep results clear — in meetings as well as in writing.

Production data & KPIs
You find it exciting to learn what metrics are important in manufacturing, how they are calculated, and how they are used in practice.

Organizational requirements

Since you will be directly involved in ongoing customer projects, we have some requirements regarding your availability:

  • You can work 2 fixed days per week (ideally always on the same days of the week).

  • You can work at least 10 hours per week.

  • You have a similar availability even during exam periods.

This job is not for you if…

  • you want to avoid customer contact or feel uncomfortable in meetings/written correspondence.

  • you are looking for very flexible working hours and cannot plan fixed weekdays.

  • you prefer to work alone — we prioritize team and customer coordination.

What we offer you

  • Working hours: 10-19 hours per week

  • Mode of work: Hybrid - Office in Cologne Ehrenfeld

  • Salary: 15-20€/h

  • Startup culture with responsibility: short paths, quick decisions, and a steep learning curve.

  • Hands-on project management in production: participation in real digitization projects from machine connection to shop floor rollout.

  • Broad industry exposure & tech know-how: insights into OT/IT, production data, and KPIs from customers in various industries.
